Cuyahoga Valley Career Center will host a Signing Day event on Monday, May 8 from 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. This event is to celebrate those students transitioning to full-time employment in their chosen career field, along with our students who have enlisted in a branch of the military following their high school graduation. The families of students, along with local business partners, administrators, military representatives, local public officials, and media outlets will be invited to this event. Those interested in attending are asked to register by Thursday, May 4.

CVCC will host a Job Fair on Thursday, March 2 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. CVCC invites employers and organizations in all fields with full-time, part-time, and seasonal employment opportunities for job seekers age 14 and older to participate. A $30 registration fee for employers is required which includes a 6-foot table, refreshments, and event promotion. CVCC encourages employers to register as soon as possible due to limited space. CVCC is seeking candidates for its Distinguished Alumni Award for exemplary accomplishment in and contribution to industry, community and education. Candidates should have completed a one or two year CVCC high school program or an entire adult education workforce development program in 2013 or earlier. This award recognizes the outstanding career achievements in a profession that is closely related to the training received at CVCC.
