This comprehensive 75-hour program prepares students to function as EKG Technicians and to take the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) Certified EKG Technician exam. This course will include practice and background information on anatomy of the heart, physiology, medical disease processes, medical terminology, medical ethics and legal aspects of patient contact, and electrocardiography. Hands-on exercises prepare students to transition from classroom practice to real-world employment.
