Student Parent Information Night Jan. 16Student-Parent Information Night
at CVCC

Thursday, January 16
7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

CVCC will host its annual Student and Parent Information Night on Thursday, January 16 from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. for high school students and their families to learn more about the specialized career and college preparation opportunities available through the nearly 30 career-technical programs offered at CVCC. The event offers program visitation and additional details to help with the decision-making process on choosing to enroll at the career center. Many CVCC programs offer industry certification opportunities and have career-technical credit transfer options, enabling students to earn college credit while at CVCC.  Contact CVCC's Admissions Counselor Kelli Buccini at 440-746-8286 or Email Kelli with any questions.

TechCred at CVCCTechCred Program

Round two of the State of Ohio's TechCred program is now open through the end of January. TechCred is a statewide program that gives businesses an incentive to upskill their current and potential employees. After identifying the technology-related skills needed, employers can partner with CVCC as their training provider for an industry-approved credential (hundreds have already been approved by the state, and they are accepting requests for new ones). Once proof of completion is attained for the short-term (less than one year) tech-related credential, the employer can be reimbursed up to $2,000 per employee (up to $30,000 total). For more information, please visit techcred.ohio.gov or Email Gina Mutch
