The second year, students apply their skills to serving patrons in the cosmetology clinic. A minimum 2.0 cumulative grade point average and a satisfactory interview with the course instructors are required for admission. Absences exceeding 9 days the first year result in termination from the program. Absences exceeding 18 days over two years result in disqualification from the licensing exam.
