Year One - 3.0 elective, 1.0 Alg. II/Trig OR Pre-Calc (required) 
Year Two - 4.0 elective OR
Option:       3.0 elective; 1.0 Pre-Calc (optional)
(Students not taking math option remain in program for instruction, earning 4.0 credits.) 
 
Certification: students have the opportunity to acquire the following certifications:
  • National Occupational Competency Testing Instrument

  • Solidworks
  • AutoCAD
  • OSHA 10-Hour Safety
  • Adobe Certified Associate
Buildings, homes, products, roads, and bridges - you name it and you'll learn the computer applications and proccesses behind taking these things from an idea all the way to a finished product. From simple blueprints to interactive images and even 3D printed models, you'll learn the tools that ARCHITECTS, DESIGNERS, and ENGINEERS use in the real world. This class focuses on hands-on projects where students get to apply classroom knowledge to real-world situations. Graduate with the skills and knowledge to pursue a successful drafting career and be college ready for programs related to architecture, design, and engineering. You can even gain valuable work experience while attending high school. Other programs in Manufacturing Technologies career field: Machine Technology.
